Have you ever been traveling and didn’t know where you were. Or maybe trying to figure out how to do or fix something and you were completely frustrated and overwhelmed by the feeling that you were lost and unable to solve the problem. Well many times we put ourselves in situations that give us that feeling of being lost, and it really can tear you down. Life brings turns, ups and downs, last but not least road blocks at times. In many instances I have become very uneasy and overwhelmed, with that sense of being lost. My life right now is full of many blessings and alot of joy. I have two little one’s, a boy and a girl. Twenty-Seven is the up an coming step for me. Shortly following that will be my son’s 1st birthday. My daughter just turned 1 month this past Monday. So you would sense that all is well from this. On the contrary, I am not close to my children in terms of location. This is very hard to bare, I am in school trying to stay focused and get stuff settled up. Looking for direction, toward my next step and attack. At this point I can only guarantee what is in front of me, this feeing is very consuming and stressful. I have a great relationship with my daughter and her awesome mom. She is such a bundle of happiness to me, I desire to be with her so much. But then there’s my son who I desire to be close to, I came into his life late. So this process has become trying to play catch up. It has its up and its downs. I feel that every time I am close to him we are growing. I feel I am in a fight to be a part of his life. This feeling of being lost as to what I do is at times a very depressing and ill feeling. But then you have my daughter who is totally a “daddy’s girl” I have been present since she was born. She is a beaming light in my world. To be with out her would create this lostness and void that I don’t think I could handle.

So to say I have blessed myself with an easy ride, would be total fiction…

But everyday I press in toward shutting the door of being lost with what life has given me.

I wouldn’t trade my life in for anything or anyone, I know my God is a great God and will direct my path and light it when needed.

Natural Law

The definition of natural law is a theory that posits the existence of a law whose content is set by nature and therefore has validity everywhere. Natural law theory is one of the most important in the philosophy of Classical Realism It's a very widely misunderstood theory, which by most people is just labeled a medieval relic. There is so much more to what natural law is than that. In the Christian realm, natural law is in many ways considered to be God's Law, the reason of divine wisdom. This brings in the  powers of reason. Human, or positive, law is the application of natural to particular social circumstances. The term natural law is ambiguous. It refers to a type of moral theory, as well as the type of legal theory, but the core claims of the two kinds of theory are logically independent. According to the natural law moral theory, the moral standards that govern human behavior are, in some sense, objectively derived from nature of human beings and the nature of the world. In so much of this natural law stuff I sit on the fence. Some is good but some is alittle out there for me to accept. But with all things take with a grain of salt

Story has become such a rich medium, that has an ability to shape and form our outlook. 

Story isn't a flight from reality but a vehicle that care us on our search for reality 

A culture cannot evolve without honest powerful story telling.

There are story wars going on we must stand stable and firm in the truth that we believe in.

We are prone to stories that protect us and saves us face.

Everyone has there own "Law of Moses" moral code 

A mans way is always right in there own mind.

If we can get justification about our story than we can validate it as "our"  way

We have to love truth more than we love our life.

Matthew 6:34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

yesterday pastor jason taught class on personal responsibility. it was a really good class that contained many eye opening outlooks. Without personal responsibility we are unable to present influence. We must be willing and ready to accept the mission

In life we have the unique ability to chose our outlook or perspective on life. to say that our perspective on life is the same across the board would be a huge lie. Individuality is a characteristic that defines our society. To one person it may seem quite normal, but to the next it is absurd or just irrational. We must be able to balance and judge the merit of insight that might agree or disagree with our perspective. As we allow voices to speak into our lives we must be willing to accept what they are sharing whether we necessarily agree or not. Sometimes it is better to just accept and work on shaping your perspective to be more widely respected. This of course brings a fine line into the equation of selling yourself down the river of acceptance or making yourself a marketable influence to the cause. Different arena’s bring forth different allocations of perspective. What might be acceptable to your best friend in private setting, might not be so approving in front of a large group. Some might say thats being fake, on the contrary. It is being able to assess your environment and judge with a discerning nature what would be beneficial/detrimental to the medium that you are plugging into. When you are pressing toward influence through leadership, you put yourself under a microscope of intrigue often filled with critics, and onlookers judging your every move. To be a tidal wave creator can have its benefits at times. When you carry this trend the downfall’s can be great failures and very risky to to desire’s that you are seeking. There is a risk/reward scenario that presents itself when you carry a revolutionist perspective. To press into things in this manner, you must make sure you have all of your ducks in a row. Be willing to accept criticism and attack, sometimes even from people that you would consider to be allies and friends . It might not be negative just a different perspective. At that point you accept what feel is beneficial and discard what is not. There is spiritual truth that comes when you accept the voices of resistenace that God has put in your life. 

we are as a team getting ready to head to welch to do ministry for 3 days. Pastor Jason is leading this army on this trip. I am really looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us. I really feel like God presents is going to be super present on this trip and many lives will be touched but more than anything this team will be transformed and brought to a new level of unity. This is my prayer to see this trip bond this team together
